Company History
CCID Consulting was first founded in 1986. Its predecessor was the Information Section of the Administration of Computer Industry of the former Ministry of Electronics Industry. Through mergers with other institutions, it was subsequently known as the Computer and Microelectronics Development Research Center of the Ministry of Electronics Industry. In December 1992, the Computer and Microelectronics Development Research Center set up a Computer Market Research Department. In 1995, the Computer Market Research Department was renamed to the Market Information Research Center, namely CCID-MIC.

On June 8, 2000, CCID Information Consulting Co., Ltd.---the predecessor of CCID Consulting Co., Ltd. was founded. The new company was to engage in research and consulting services on China’s IT industry and market. In July 2001, CCID Information Consulting Co., Ltd. formally got involved in offering enterprise strategy, IT management and investment consulting services and established a comprehensive professional consulting services system.

On March 11, 2002, CCID Consulting Co., Ltd. held its first shareholders meeting and board meeting. On March 18, 2002, CCID Consulting Co., Ltd. was formally founded. On December 12 the same year, it was listed in Hong Kong Growth Enterprises Market (HK8235) and became China’s first professional consulting firm listed in Hong Kong, which opened a brand new development course for CCID Consulting.

Today, CCID Consulting has developed into the strongest modern management consultancy company in China, which offers the most comprehensive services.
